The long and short of it
The Halberg awards were an All Black benefit last night; no surprises there.
But the biggest mismatch of the night was this one:
Couldn't they have found some way of making Steven McIvor taller, or Rachel Hunter shorter? After all, Hollywood's been doing it for Tom Cruise for years!

I had no idea Temuera Morrison aka Jake the Muss was a midget either.
To be Fair the first occasion I glimpsed Mr Muldoon, he arrived at the Empire Hotel in Masterton's Queen St in CR1, swmbo and self wondered who was the 'passenger'.
We had to wait till he emerged to the rear of the limo as he did not appear over the roof having alighted on the street side.

I didn't realize Rachel is that tall or is McIvor a midget?
I think La Hunter is about 6'...
I didn't watch, but it's a travesty that the Breakers as the first team to win an Aussie comp didn't get a gong.

On a related matter, under the RMA was Rachel's frock an earthquake risk.
Lucky she didn't drop anything.
