Christmas week

It's Wednesday of Christmas week, and the Big Day is drawng closer. Over at Homepaddock the other day, Ele suggested that December needs another week, and we're inclined to agree. Even then though, we still probably wouldn't get everything done; such is the nature of things.

However a glorious day beckons here in the Riviera of the lower North Island. Unfortunately, that makes the attraction of doing the important stuff that needs to be done in the office somewhat less alluring; the golf course would be a far more attractive proposition today!

Parliament has its State Opening today, and given that the term "muppet" was tossed around with some abandon this year, that's a segue to our Christmas musical vignette this morning:

So have yourself a merry little Christmas; even if you don't get everything finished!

Everything takes as long as you have got. I find that the less time I have, the more efficiently I work.
And, as with aspiration, it does not matter whether you think you can or whether you think you can't, you are probably right.
