Dismiss him at your peril

The Left regularly dismisses anything that Cameron "Whaleoil" Slater says or blogs. Perhaps that's why they keep getting harpooned by the Whale.

Have a read of this, published over a month ago:

A source sent me this image.

It is the design for a sticker that is being prepared in the lead up to the election. Quotes are being sought from printers and sign-writers right now.

It is totally illegal, has no authorisation, and looks like it’s being produced so vandals can apply them to National billboards. I’m on the trail of who is behind this campaign so stay tuned.

If members of the Whale Army have heard anything about this dirty tricks campaign, or if you see these stickers appearing let me know via the tipline.

Cam Slater's sources on this have been proved 100% right. There WAS a concerted campaign to attack National Party billboards, and the stickers that were used say exactly what he said one of them would say.

Jolyon White and his Green Party-aligned activist friends have been completely busted; Slater published the registration number of White's motorcucle on Whaleoil yesterday morning, a full two hours before Russel Norman called a media conference to front-foot the issue and apologise.

And we've just heard Cameron Slater talking with Leighton Smith on Newstalk ZB. Smith was a bit gobsmacked at the accuracy of Slater's predictions of a month ago. But what most be really chilling for the Greens was the strong hint from Slater that he knows a whole lot more than what he has already disclosed.

Despite Russel Norman's best efforts yesterday, this issue isn't going to die quitely; not by a long stretch. We have little doubt whatsoever that there is more to come, and that it will be released bit, by bit, by bit.

And those on the Left who have dismissed Cameron Slater as a mentally ill loose unit are going to have to eat their words. Slater has often said that there are two certainties when you wrestle with pigs; you'll both get filthy, and the pig will enjoy it. The question now is this; who's going to have the biggest laundry bill?

Well done Cameron Slater.

Poor effort INV2. Suckling pigs will give you the 'flu.

Is this the face of new Christianity?
Nasty hypocritical fame-seekers??

Struck a nerve, have I Anon? Why don't you address the issue instead of the individual?

What on earth is up with the stardard of your trolls Inv? This is just sad.

NEVER dismiss Cameron Slater! Never ever ever...

Spell check though INV! You must have been in a hurry to publish this one!

Bad look for The Greens for sure - but it won't change anything on election day, and is nowhere near as bad a look as teagate.

A new low for KS I have to say.
Despite being misguided most of the time (and hugely transparently self-serving the rest), Cam is just not a pleasant example of our people.
Unless you are a gun-toting, incredibly mean ideologue. Is your blog, INV2, moving to the hard right?
I come here for the civil nature, and may leave now. It appears to be heading into unsavoury territory.

@ INV2 The issue is the person, the method and the motivation as much as the material.

The 'tea tape' will be released, unveiling derogatory comments made by Prime Minister John Key.

Yep...you're right there Jacqueline.
Both events involved questionable, if not criminal tactics from the left.

@ Jacqui; all I'll say on your last bit is three words; watch this space.

@ James; what's "mean" or "unsavoury" about acknowledging that a fellow blogger has busted open a political scandal? He's done what the media should have done, but either can't or won't. He's done nothing illegal on this issue, unlike those who vandalised National Party billboards.

I suspect you are right about it not dying quietly. Ironically though this and the cup of tea fiasco might actually have a positive side for NZ First, Labour ( consistently ) and now the greens have pissed me off. I will not vote for the right or the lunatic Mana left. As far as I can see there are two options available to me the first being destroy my ballot in a plague on all your houses type gesture or voting for Winston in an even bigger plague on all your houses gesture.

No plague on my house or anyone else's could ever be that big HS!

Fine work by the Whale, he's been in excellent form this election season.

So with 'teagate' - do you think John Key said "NZ First supporters are dying out/a dying breed"? Or did he channel his inner lefty and say "I wish NZ First supporters would hurry up and die"?

Today is International Muppet Day.
Good to see the celebrations not confined to small town NZ at the bottom of the world.

I might add IV2 to quote you

" dismiss him at your peril "
and I am not talking about Cameron.

"I’ve always said that a good hard cold winter and a virulent dose of bird flu would solve the Peters problem."

Now who might have been so Christian and such a wonderful inspiration as to write that?
This is who you align yourself with INV2.
Do you think JK and Banksy agree...
I know my dear grandmother and Returned Serviceman grandfather are offended by such revolting vitriol.

I don't endorse everything that Cameron Slater says Gregory. I daresay that he disagrees with quite a bit that I say too.

But ion this issue, he's been right on the money, and you haven't heard the best of it yet.

Jolyon White does work for the Anglican Church, but this work was for the Greens, so why call him and his helpers nasty hypocritical fame-seekers when they did not want any publicity for themselves?

A little premature, but if you mean Russel Norman (and not Meteria Turei) it does remind me of that immortal line:

"Gimme back my flag"

teapot gate is a bore .. Prosecute the guy with 2 names and move on.
I hear Turei has ordered a new shredder.. Is that true?
One thing about the vandal is that at every interview, he spouts out his message so is a winner in this because of the attention he is getting

Anonymous said...

which is what key should be doing. spouting out his message from a teapot spout. not running scared.

Jabba - my 20 year old son has two names. The name on his birth certificate, and the last name of his stepfather who raised him.

Some people know him by his birth certificate name, however anyone who went to school with him know him by another name.

Does that make him a bad young man like having two names has warranted so much criticism of Bradley Ambrose / White?

The lenghts you lot will go to - character assaination of someone you know nothing about - in order to avoid admitting that you worship John Key did something wrong is truly amazing.

Heaven forbid my son ever get in the news - imagine what will be said just because he has two names!
