Tom Scott

We had the radio on Newstalk ZB's Wellington feed earlier in the morning. Our ears pricked up when Justin du Fresne read out an e-mail from an irate listener who is clearly not a Tom Scott fan, complaining at his cartoon in this morning's Dom-Post. So we went looking, and this is what we found:

We don't see anything to be outraged about. Scott has used his craft (and he's one of the best in the business) to ask a legitimate question. Isn't that what cartoons are supposed to do? And for the record, we'd love to know what Joe Karam's answer would be, but we won't hold our breat waiting for it!

I think his answer might have been "Why did you make up your mind in just five hours. I'm on 75bucks an hour.

This is a very poor "cartoon".

There is absolutely no visual message.

I could have done this using a photograph of Karam.
