And not to be outdone, the Sunday Star-Times has entered the fray, with advice to Bennett from none other than Paul Holmes, who suggests that Bennett "stop supporting her daughter's gangster boyfriend".
Holmes, of course, speaks from bitter personal experience. We have sympathy for his point of view, but also for that of Paula Bennett. However we strongly agree with Holmes when he is quoted as saying:
