Balance from The Standard
Now you'd think that a blog like The Standard would want to have a good, balanced perspective on what's going on in the world of politics, especially as the Labour/NZ First government hangs by a thread. But if you thought that, you'd be wrong!
Just check out the list below of The Standard's 15 most recent posts. What is supposedly the third or fourth most-read political blog in New Zealand seems to have a head-in-the-sand attitude towards the allegations swirling around both Winston Peters and Helen Clark. And that attitude is even more ironic when you look at the title of The Standard's most recent offering!!

"third or fourth most read political blog in New Zealand"
Rubbish. It is just the posters and a few of their mates having chit chat sessions.

Payed for by your taxes & mine!
Look on the bright side: if the Nats somehow wing against LabourGreensMaoriNZF, against the Maorimander, against MMP, against the EFA, against RadioNZ, against TVNZ, against the Police, the Electoral Comission, the SIS, the GCSB and on and on and on
all the fucks on the standard will be fired & unable to get a job anywhere in NZ or elsewhere
and most of 'em and the Union paymasters will be languishing in jail
one thing Labour did strategically & tatically was to wipe out all National/ACT aligned civil servants, academic,s & reporters on TVNZ & Radio NZ very quickly, and then in the next 9 years wipe out anyone who could be considered in the least "independent".
national must do the same ---- IF it wins.
Their idea of balance is a bucket of muck in both hands.
Well, to be fair on The Standard, they can't comment on the Owen Glenn breaking news until the 9th floor have sorted some lines.
Expect to see a comment from The Standard on this issue around 9am tomorrow (or today as it's now after midnight).
