Wow, not only is it Friday, but it's also August, which means that spring is just a month away. And it's been another interesting week with some bizarre behaviour from Winston Peters, accusations about Rodney Hide's sexuality (there should be accusations about his fashion choices!), an about-turn by National over WFF (I'm still getting my head around that), and some wild weather, almost all of which has bypassed the resort city of Wangavegas by the Tasman Sea!

On Rodney Hide - he's the man taking on Winston Peters.
Ironically Rodney’s party probably considers sexuality to have no bearing on anything given their stance on personal responsibility & individual freedom. So with that in mind… that’s the way it should stay.
But I have to say that if Key swallows too many more dead rats – I may have to give ACT a long hard second long.
